Floor/Building

The apartment is at ground level when you enter, but you are in fact on the first floor when you look out over the Port. There are no steps to reach the apartment.

Neighbourhood

Located in the antique quarter of the Port, which is tucked away at the bottom of the famous Château Hill, Nautique is just five minutes from the Promenade des Anglais and around the corner from the charming Old Town.

Ten minutes away is the beautiful Place Garibaldi with its many restaurants, cafes, and Monoprix supermarket. For more substantial shopping Carrefour, a hypermarket, with other high street stores in the complex, is roughly 15-minutes' walk away.

Several local buses, including the 100 which goes along the coast to Monaco, are less than a 10-minute walk away, and the Riquier train station is 20 minutes on foot. Should you wish to bring a car, there is parking available near the port.

Living Area

The east-facing living area gets the morning sun as it comes up over Mont Boron. The two large windows allow the sunshine to stream in and also frame the captivating view of the Port. When guests can tear themselves away from the window, there is a large sofa and armchair to relax in and a designer table with two chairs for any meals you choose to eat in. (Please note that the sofa and armchair were updated in May 2018, and are upholstered in dark cloth rather than white leather shown in the photos)

The apartment comes with a TV and Wi-Fi.

Kitchen

Open plan to the living area, the contemporary kitchen provides everything guests will need to put together meals to enjoy in the comfort of their own apartment. There is a large fridge with separate freezer, three-ring electric hob, microwave, oven and plenty of worktop space for preparing all the ingredients.

The kitchen units also house the dishwasher and washing machine.

Bedrooms

Set at the back of the apartment, the colourful bedroom offers a double bed with bedside tables and reading lamps. There is a large closet for unpacking all your clothes and also a second TV.
Like the rest of the apartment, the bedroom has air-conditioning, double glazing and traditional shutters.

Bathroom

The good-sized bathroom can be accessed both from the bedroom and from the entrance hallway. It comes with a walk-in shower, toilet, large washbasin with mirrored vanity unit and an electric radiator.

The advertised nightly price is based on a week stay. You will pay more than the nightly rate for a stay of less than seven days. The longer you stay with us, the better the rate.

How to get there

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes around 30 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at Port / Lympia, from where it's a six minute walk to the apartment.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram to the Garibaldi tram stop which is an ten minute walk from the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, or at the Garibaldi tram stop, as you prefer.

Alternatively, local bus number 30 departs from the train station and costs 1.50€. You should take the bus to Le Port, which will require a walk of about eight minutes.

You are also able to take the SNCF train to Nice Riquier, which is the next stop after Nice Ville. This station is closer to your apartment, although transport from this station to your apartment is limited to a choice between taking a bus number 7 to Le Port or a taxi.

If you prefer to take a taxi, this will take about 15-20 minutes from Gare Nice Ville or seven minutes from Gare Nice Riquier. Please be sure that you have the full address ready to give to the driver.

The nearest car park to our Nice apartment Nautique is Promenade des Arts at 18 Avenue Saint-Jean-Baptiste, about an 11 minute walk. Alternatively, parking is available at Barla at 9 Rue Auguste Gal, which is also approximately an 11 minute walk to the apartment. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
