Neighbourhood
This holiday rental apartment is right in the heart of the Carré d’Or quarter, and the Pedestrian Zone with its shops, cafes and restaurants can be found just one street down. The famous Promenade des Anglais is a mere five minutes’ walk away and it takes ten minutes on foot to reach the bustling Old Town.

Around the corner, on rue Maccarani, there is a local supermarket as well as a bakery and a wine merchant, all of which makes it easy to stock up for meals in.

Living Area
The delightful soft furnishings and artwork make the living area a cheerful place to relax. Enjoy reading a book or watching some TV on the three seater sofa. Wi-Fi is provided throughout the apartment so it's easy to keep up with all the latest goings on or to plan a day out along along the coast.

From the living room guests can access the balcony.
Kitchen
Separated from the living area by a hatch, the kitchen is modern and well equipped. It offers a four-ring ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge with separate freezer and dishwasher as well as a wide range of utensils.

There is a dining table with space for four just off the kitchen, although we think guests are likely to dine al fresco most of the time.
Bedrooms
Warm and welcoming, the bedroom has the luxury of a Super King Size bed (with two separate mattresses), two bedside tables with reading lamps and a fitted wardrobe. From here, guests can open the French doors and sit outside on the balcony to enjoy their morning coffee in the sunshine.

The bedroom also comes with double glazing, air-conditioning and traditional shutters, all to help you to get a good night's sleep.
Bathroom
The bathroom is fully tiled and comes complete with a walk-in shower, washbasin with vanity unit and a large mirror. The washing machine is also found in the bathroom.

There is a separate WC with toilet and bidet just next to the bathroom.

How to get there

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 20 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Jean Medecin tram stop and it’s a seven minute walk to the apartment.

We can meet you at the tram stop at street level by the lift, or outside the apartment building, as you prefer.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From there, the tram provides a cheap, convenient way to get to your apartment. When you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram just two stops down the tramline, less than a five minute journey, and get off at Massena. It is then about a six minute walk from Massena to your apartment.

We can meet you at the tram stop or outside the apartment building, as you prefer.

If you prefer to take a taxi, this will take about 10-15 minutes from Gare Nice Ville. Please be sure that you have the full address ready to give to the driver.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A car park near the apartment is Parking Meyerbeer at 3 Rue Meyerbeer and requires a walk of about five minutes from the apartment. Alternatively, parking may be available in Parking Espace Grimali at 1 Rue Maccarani, which is also a five minute walk to the apartment. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
