Floor/Building
This apartment is located on the first floor of a modern but very grand, well kept building with a small lift (a puschair could be squeezed in). There are 20 steps outside the building and 23 inside if you choose to take the stairs.
Neighbourhood
This rental apartment is on one of the main Portside streets. With the great views, this is a popular street for well-regarded restaurants, bars and nightlife for a more reserved clientele. The local food store and other shops are accessible through the building courtyard.
With the Port right on your doorstep, the beach and Old Town are within a very pleasant 12 minute stroll around Rauba Capeu. There are excellent local shops and a supermarket on the surrounding streets.
If you want to explore further afield, public transport is readily available. The main number 100 bus route goes through the Port on its way to Monaco and the border of Italy and the Riquier train station is a 15 minute walk away. Should you wish to bring a car, there is public parking available on the port.

Living Area
The spacious open plan living area is comfortable and modern with lots of pretty homely touches. White walls and original parquet flooring are kept light and bright with two beige sofas, white wood cabinets and a large circular white dining table that seats four. The sunny seaside scenes depicted on the walls and large double sliding doors opening onto the terrace merge this room seamlessly with the outdoors.
The ample sized terrace includes another dining table that’s seats three and a comfortable sun-lounger.
There is also air-conditioning, TV and Fibre Wi-Fi.
Kitchen
The kitchen forms a part of the open plan living and dining space. Discrete but practical brown lacquered cupboards hide an array of mod-cons. There is a four-ring electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.
Bedrooms
Just off the living room the bedroom also benefits from alluring sea views. There is a large king size bed decorated with nautical print cushions and throws, bedside tables with reading lamps, a double wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bathroom
The bathroom is a reasonable size and just next to the bedroom. Finished in sandy shades of beige there is a large walk in shower, vanity unit with mirror and heated towel rail.
There is a separate WC just off the hallway.
