Neighbourhood

This apartment is centrally located on Rue de France, just a minute from the pedestrian area with its shops and restaurants. It is less than five minutes walk to the Promenade, beach and around ten minutes to the Old Town.

Living Area

The walls throughout the apartment are a smart, cool grey colour. The lounge contains a comfortable sofa bed, re-arrange the cushions into a chaise longue, lay back and chill out while watching the tv. A round dining table with ghost-like designer chairs nestle into the corner of the room. Wall to wall sliding glass doors with sliding panel blinds turn the spacious covered terrace into the perfect extension of the apartment.

Kitchen

Small, practical kitchen area open to the lounge, separated by a high shelf. Oven, dishwasher and washing machine.

Bedrooms

The bedroom has the same decor as the rest of the apartment with harmonious, wood flooring. King size bed and plenty of storage space in the built-in wardrobe. A slim desk/dressing table is a useful addition. As in the lounge sliding glass doors and sliding panel blinds open onto the terrace. A motorised roller shutter provides security and black-out for a perfect night's sleep.

Bathroom

Compact with a vanity wash basin and mirrored cabinet above. Walk-in corner shower.

By Car

Visit our transport page for full tram, taxi and bus information. Our recommendation from either T1 or T2 is the tram, transfer or taxi.

The Line 2 Tram from either T1 or T2. Fare ride is 1.50€ and takes approximately 20 minutes. Trams generally run every six minutes. Disembark at the Alsace Loraine tram stop from where it's a ten minute walk to the apartment.

We can meet you outside the apartment building, or at the tram stop at street level by the lift, as you prefer.

A transfer with keys, booked through our site, will guarantee you an early check-in of 13:00 and will be a pleasant 20 minute ride. You will be picked up in the arrival terminal by the driver holding a name card, who is in possession of your keys. See our TRAVEL EXTRAS PAGE or select at checkout.

Taxis can be picked up at either terminal.

If you are coming to Nice from somewhere else in France, we recommend you take an SNCF train to Gare Nice Ville.

From the station, the tram provides a cheap way to get to your apartment. To take the tram, when you leave the Gare, turn left and follow Avenue Thiers, until you come to Avenue Jean Medecin. The trams come every five minutes and tickets cost 1.50€. Take the tram just two stops down the tram line, less than a six minute journey, and get off at Massena, from where it's an eight minute walk to the apartment.

If you wish to take a taxi, the taxi rank is located outside the front entrance of Gare Nice Ville and the journey will take approximately ten minutes.

Driving in Nice can be a challenge. We strongly advise GPS or a very good map. A car park near the apartment is Parking Meyerbeer at 3 Rue Meyerbeer, which is a five minute walk to the apartment. Alternatively, parking may be available in Palais Massena at 29 Promenade des Anglais and requires a walk of about five minutes. We will send you a GPS reference and full address with your arrival details.

Unfortunately, you can expect to pay up to 30€ a day for parking in central locations.
