Neighbourhood
15 minutes’ drive from the centre of Nice and around 10 to the famous beaches of Villefranche-sur-Mer and St Jean Cap, Villa Fuji is situated quiet neighbourhood of five properties on the Route Stratégique. The Route originated in Roman times, climbing from the city limit of Nice to the town of La Turbie, and today ends in a well-maintained hiking trail that leads eastward past the parks and historical sites of the Plateau de la Justice and the Fort de la Revere. Not only is area frequented by hikers but it is also a cyclists paradise.
Just a 5-minute walk from the villa is the famous restaurant, La Chaumière, known for it’s elegant but relaxed atmosphere that has made it a popular choice with celebrities since it’s opening in 1952.
Living Area
Enter the property through private electric gates where there is parking for up to three cars complete with one charging port. Spread over two levels, the ground floor comprises an entrance foyer with wardrobe and guest WC, a living room with an open fireplace and Steinway grand piano, a dining room to comfortably seat 6, kitchen and a multi-function space currently furnished as library and artist studio.
Full retractable windows can be opened to provide access to the pool and gardens, for full indoor/outdoor living.
Landscaped areas surrounding the pool and the villa include a paved terrace and lawn equipped with automatic watering system, garden furniture and parasol; planters with Mediterranean plants, fruit, herbs, and flowers, and lighting. Outdoor areas are protected by an effective Bio-Belt system to reduce mosquitos.
Kitchen
The semi-open kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, four ring hob, oven, washing machine and views out over the pool area and garden.
Bedrooms
There are three bedrooms in this property. Two of the bedrooms have an air-conditioning. Each of the bedrooms are of similar size and hold king size beds with bedside lighting and storage. Connected by a large landing in the centre of which is the spiral staircase joining the ground and first floor. Please note that this staircase could be dangerous for small children and no childproof gates can be fitted.
There is also an air-conditioned cinema room on the first floor with TV and simple seating arrangement, this room is equipped with motorized awning and has been panelled with sliding acoustic walls to provide a flexible second living space overlooking the pool and gardens.
Bathroom
Each bedroom has it’s own ensuite bathroom with shower or bath, wash basin, vanity unit, mirror and toilet. There is a separate WC o the ground floor.
