Riviera Pebbles Blog: Mangez-Moi restaurant
Posted on 4th Jun 2018 in Eats & Drinks
Mangez-Moi
9 Rue Blacas
+33 4 93 87 54 71
Mangez-Moi is a charming oasis within the hustle and bustle of city life, complete with a flower garden, orange trees, colourful seating and twinkling lights. It’s USP are the home grown citrus fruits grown in the garden of the Parisian owner’s Martine and Hugues.
Every dish is freshly prepared by Martine, and when not picked from their garden, they are locally locally sourced. Hugues greets diners with a warm smile, speaking English with tourists, and offering English menus to those with limited French.
The gnocchi’s fresh and the daube sauce is hearty, with plenty of crusty bread available throughout the meal. The homemade vanilla ice cream is full of flavour, and the cheesecake with home-grown lemons is delicious.
There’s no need to break the bank by ordering over-priced wine. A carafe of wine at Mangez-Moi is 10 euros and holds about three small glasses. However, the star of the show is undoubtedly the house limoncello. Made in-house with home-grown lemons, it is sweet, smooth and a real post-meal treat.
Main dishes from 16 euros
